WoodChests.com has been in business for over 15 years, and on the Internet for over eleven (11) years. It has a main showroom located in Seaside, Oregon with a internet catalogue business that ships items all around the world. It's modern distribution center is located in Oregon.

First and far most . . Privacy is most important to us; therefore, we will not sell, rent, or give your name or address to anyone.

What are my shipping options?

At Woodchests.com we realize that a big concern for customers is the speed and affordability of shipping. We also realize that holidays and birthdays are critical, can't-miss deadlines.

We ship using the following freight companies:

  • FedEx Ground
  • FedEx Express (Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day, Saturday Delivery) * EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*
  • U.P.S. (United Parcel)
  • U.S.P.S. (post office - ex: FPO & APO etc) *EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*
  • Truck Freight *EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*
    Note: Receiving Truck shipments are the resonsibility of the receiving person to properly check shipment for damage BEFORE SIGNING TRUCKING COMPANY RECEIVING RECEIPT. Once you sign & receive a truck shipment we cannot be responsible for un-checked damages. You must deal directly with the trucking company involved by telephoning their local office.
  • Over-Size Items *EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*
  • Multiple Cartons (or heavy shipments) *EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*

What are my shipping charges?
Shipping charges are calculated based upon weight, overall size, and destination zip/postal code. The freight charges indicated during check-out are for basic ground service within the continental 48 states. There are additional freight charges outside that area, express shipments, and other exceptions (see above list).

Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, Canada, and other countries will require an additional freight charges. *EXTRA CHARGES APPLY*

Tracking Number
We e-mail the tracking number along with the shipper name within 1-2 business days after the freight carrier picks up shipment.  If available, we will also include the freight company home page address on the Internet so that you can track your shipment on its way to you.

Availability
We normally stock full inventory for every product we sell. However in rare cases or during special holiday periods, we may be sold out. In those cases we suggest either wait for the backorder, or select another style of product.

Order Cancellation Policy
Unless order already shipped, a customer can request ( via telephone ) a CANCELLATION AUTHORIZATION NUMBER for an order placed. Much work goes into processing an order. In many cases the items are large and require crating and/or special packing. If you cancel an order after **24 hours** you will be charged a cancellation fee which ranges up to 40% of the value of your order, or a minimum of $35.00. This also applies to orders cancelled due to refusals, damaged items, non-stock items... A CANCELLATION AUTHORIZATION NUMBER CANNOT BE GIVEN FOR ORDERS ALREADY SHIPPED.

Return Policy
VERY IMPORTANT - - ANY RETURN TO OUR DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES, "WITHOUT" A RETURNS AUTHORIZATION NUMBER INDICATED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE, WILL BE REFUSED.
1. Freight/Shipping charges are non-refundable for any reason
2. Return authorzation number must be requested and returned within TWO days of receipt
There is a restocking fee (ranging from 20% - 50%). You are responsible for freight to and from the shipping address.  You must insure the package.  You are responsible for any transit damage.

FOOD/CANDY ITEMS - NO RETURNS ACCEPTED FOR ANY FOOD ITEMS WHATSOEVER

MAGIC KEYS/LOCKS: DUE TO SECURITY CONCERNS MAGIC KEYS AND LOCKS ARE NON-RETURNABLE

COSTUMES NOTE: Due to health concerns we do not accept returns or exchanges of any FOOD ITEMS, COSTUME or COSTUME RELATED ITEMS (such as boot coverings).  This is to insure our customers that they are receiving a new costume which has not been previously worn.

Shipment Refusal / Cancellation
Customer must advise via telephone of a cancellation or refusal and obtain a valid CANCELLATION AUTHORIZATION NUMBER for your record and ours. Any shipment refused, not accepted, or not delivered for any other reason. Customer is responsible for freight both ways (note: you will be billed actual freight which is considerably higher than the freight we post on the internet for an item).

Returns Address
Enclose an explanation for the return, and all accompanying documents, parts and/or hardware (if applicable), to the following address: (VERY IMPORTANT - - ANY RETURN TO OUR DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES, "WITHOUT" A RETURNS AUTHORIZATION NUMBER INDICATED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE, WILL BE REFUSED)

Damaged Goods Policy
DAMAGED ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITH ONE (1) DAY OF RECEIPT. Each item we sell is covered by woodchests.com guarantee.  If you receive an item and it is damaged please contact us via email for prompt attention at
traffic@woodchests.com .  Item should be repacked in carton it was received and await pickup by original freight carrier.
